Annual Dinner - Cancellation Notice

Regrettably the Governing Body of the Rockwell College Union has taken the decision to cancel the 2020 Annual Dinner which was due to be held on March 27th at Hotel Minella in Clonmel. 


We have not taken this decision lightly.  

Over the last 48 hours, some of our members have expressed their concerns about the event. At this juncture, the protection of our members, and the wider Rockwell Community, is our highest priority. 

All advice available indicates that we need to restrict gatherings where possible. It is impossible to predict when this crisis will abate, so we have taken the decision to cancel the dinner, rather than postpone it to a later date.


We will issue a refund directly back to the card used to make the dinner booking. Card companies each have different processes - so please give it a week or so before you check your statement.


The Hotel Minella has confirmed all hotel room bookings will be auto-cancelled, and in fact they have started the process already. You will not be charged. There is no need to call the hotel. 


We want to take this opportunity to thank the Hotel Minella and the Nallen family for their understanding and the manner in which they are handling this - a true partner.
