Max Wachman Victorious

Wachman victorious in South View Grand Prix held in Cheshire, defeating 22 riders in jump off. Max Wachman, a First Year student at Rockwell College, has won at the prestigious South View Grand Prix, held this year in Chesire. Max and his partner, Diamond, produced an excellent ride in the preliminaries to make the final 22 jump off against an initial 106 competitors in the 1.15m performance event. 

The pair jumped impeccably to go clear and win the event. Max has been riding Diamond for only two years but their smooth performance around the technically difficult course belied this fact. This is a remarkable achievement, considering that he was one of the youngest riders in the class, having the determination and stamina in such a big field. Max and his partner, Diamond, have only just stepped up to this level and the pair jumped their first 1.20m track in Ireland just two weeks before this event.
