Rockwell sweeps Young Economist of the Year Awards!

Congratulations are in order for Rockwell's Young Economist entrants, who claimed gold in the 6th, 5th, and TY categories in the 2020 competition. The entries focused on issues of environmental sustainability & locality, and were praised by both judges and their teachers for the effort and creativity evident in their work. Below, we have listed the winners for each category, as well as a link for some further reading! 

Winners:

6th year: Leah McGarry and Padraic Clark ("A Positive Look at Climate Change") - Pictured above

5th year: Peter Keating (Electric vehicle cost/benefit)

TY:

Gold: Bobby Smith and Tadhg Carey (Silvermines Hydro power)

Silver: Conor Walsh, Ben Coleman and Luke Healy (Insurance)
