Jack Keenan Class of 1955

The Rockwell College Past Pupils Union would like to extend our sympathies to the family of Jack Keenan; Rockwell Class of 1955.

Much loved father of Tony and Philip, and cherished father-in-law to Lorraine, grandfather to Jack, Emma, Harry and Sophie. Brother to Joan Keenan and the late Mary Atkinson. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends and all the staff of Newtown Park House.

A former accountant by profession, he remained closely connected to the Past Pupils’ Union over many decades, most notably through his dedication to organising our golf outings at Killiney Golf Club. Jack ensured that the tradition continued often arranging up to three outings in a single year. These events were never just about golf; they were about friendship, shared history, and keeping the spirit of the school alive across generations.

His contribution to the Union and to the wider school community will be remembered with gratitude and respect. Our thoughts are with his family and friends at this time.
